Supplying the Basics
InIn partnership with our local ABC Food Bank and the City of Athol, we host a bimonthly distribution event, on the first Tuesday at the Athol Community Center. We provide a wide assortment of personal care, hygiene,cleaning
products, OTC medicine, pet food, and more to area men, women, and children in need.
We provide these items at no cost to them.

Area food banks struggle tremendously to receive these items as food remains the focus.
The Federal Assistance Program SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) does not cover the purchase
of vitamins, medicines, supplements, foods that are hot at the point of sale, cleaning supplies, paper and household products, hygiene and cosmetics. By offering these basic and costly essentials, it allows individuals and families to allocate more money towards food, gas, and living expenses.
Through our efforts and ongoing outreach events, we have (on average) served 148 men, women, and children at each event! This program has supported families from 10 cities and 3 counties throughout north Idaho.

ABC FOOD BANK

We make weekly deliveries to our food bank in large parts to our partnership with Athol Dollar General, generous individuals and small businesses. Our partnership with Athol Dollar General has helped to avoid waste and feed those in need within our community.

In our first three years of partnering with Athol Dollar General, we have poured over $75,000 worth of goods back into our community! This partnership has been a huge blessing to our community. ​​
Supplying the Basics
The first Tuesday, every other month, from 9:00 to 3:00 pm at the Athol Community Center we distribute personal care, feminine hygiene, cleaning products, OTC medicine and more to those in need, free of charge. ​

You can help us by purchasing these items and dropping them off at one of our collection sites. Or you can host a collection drive.
Hygiene Carts
We learned many teens are in transitional stages, often moving from place to place, with few belongings. Showing up to school without a shower, or the ability to properly clean and care for themselves. We wanted to do something about it.

We are working to provide area middle and high schools in north Idaho hygiene carts, furnished with a wide assortment of travel/hotel size amenities. We replenish the carts as needed and our contacts within the school will notify us if a child/teen needs more than what's provided.

Don't discard those hotel/travel size products. Please consider donating them to us. We will use them!
Host A Collection Drive
We're eager to collaborate with groups, like-minded organizations, small businesses, and more to host much needed collection drives at various retailers throughout north Idaho.

If you need community service hours or have a community-centered project, we work with you to produce the event, from start to finish. Although, if you know the ins and outs of hosting one, we appreciate that too! Either way, we work together to ensure your efforts and/or group is recognized and appreciated for supporting the needs within our community.
