Where are you located?

We are based in Athol, Idaho.

We currently operate out of our personal/residential shop, two 10 x 20 storage units, and host most of our outreach events at the Athol Community Center.

Who do you help?

We serve individuals and families that reside in Athol, Bayview, Careywood, and other small, rural, underserved communities in north Idaho. Our service areas primarily include regions found north of Lancaster Road (in Hayden) and south of the Sandpoint Long Bridge.

Are your services free?

Accepted Answer

Yes. As a 501(c)3 charitable nonprofit organization, we work to meet the varying needs within the community as best as we can. We will never ask for money in exchange for any of our services. However, we cannot guarantee we can provide what you need, when you need it. We merely do our best to try!

How can I make a donation?

A tax-deductible donation can be made in the form of cash, check, Venmo (@BTBFundraising), or PayPal. Donations can be mailed to P.O. Box 791, Athol, Idaho 83801. 
In-kind donations can be dropped off at any one of our collection locations; Athol Community Center, Athol P1FCU, Abide Culture Coffee, Farragut State Park Visitors Center, and North Idaho Tire (in Spirit Lake).

How do I receive assistance?

First, please make sure you reside within our boundary lines of services (north of Lancaster Road in Hayden; south of the Sandpoint Long Bridge). Email our Executive Director, Corilynne, at  corilynne@bestowingthebasics.org
with a detailed explanation of your circumstances. She will then determine IF and how we can be of assistance. Much is contingent on our own resources at the time, therefore, we cannot guarantee assistance at any given time. We merely do our best to try!
