Feeding the Need

Through various ongoing events and stationed resources, we offer ways to help supplement the need for food and nourishing meals. There is no charge to utilize our programs, pantry, and meals. Everything is free!

Our free summer lunch program takes place mid June through mid August, every Tuesday, from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Athol City Park.

Careywood Community Pantry

Our free Careywood Community Pantry is accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, located next to the Careywood Fire Station.

This resource is available to anyone who needs it.

We ask for the communities help to keep it stocked and cleaned. Our volunteers check and replenish it every other week.

This precious resource was made possible by partnering with Wyatt Dean Structures and

Selkirk Fire Rescue & EMS.

Thanks to our partnership with the Brighter Life Foundation, we receive healthy, locally sourced meals, that include a protein, starch, and vegetable. These prepackaged meals are microwavable, gluten, and dairy free.

No matter your circumstances, no questions asked.

We will feed you! Please message us to arrange pickup in Athol.

Monthly Community Meal

October through March, the second Friday of each month, we host a free community meal at The Country Boy Cafe from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM.

This event is *not* associated with need, but rather an opportunity to gather, fellowship, and connect as a community. Everyone is welcome! And yes, it's free

Athol Dollar General

Shortly after Athol Dollar General opened its doors, we formed a beautiful partnership, working to avoid waste and feed those in need.

Every Tuesday and upon request, we pick-up hundreds of items to deliver to our local ABC Food Bank and other families in need.
